Teaching Electron Microscopy

For many, scanning electron microscopy might sound like an unattainable lesson opportunity for students and teachers but the Hitachi STEM program seeks to foster an interest in science and technology to students of all ages by making demonstration of our tabletop SEM accessible and easy-to-use.  Our teaching tools will help you uncover the hidden worlds of everyday objects, computer chips, insects, color and much more. Your students will be amazed and inspired as they uncover how these worlds of natural nanostructures affect the world we live in. Take a look at our numerous educator-created lesson plans and take advantage of our EOP STEM Kits that include preset samples that correspond with graduated lesson plans for students of all levels – with room to grow.
