Middle school students enjoyed looking at microscopic images of sugar and salt crystals.

Feedback from school: “Last week the middle school had an exciting opportunity. One of our middle school fathers who works for Hitachi, helped us connect with a company outreach program that came to the school, trained the faculty, and left an electron microscope for students to analyze and use in their class room environment.  The middle school students were amazed by the images that the microscope projected. Mrs. Litfin and I joined the fifth grade as Mrs. Damigo explained how the microscope functioned. We saw the difference between salt and sugar crystals”
